I have been an acquaintance of Krista’s for about the last 6 years. I was terribly shocked to hear that she was missing. I am at a loss for words. I just hope that there is a quick and happy reunion for your family. Please try to hold onto your positive thoughts, feelings, and memories. She is a beautiful girl and deserves our warmest and most sincere expectations that she will return home safely.

To: Fellow Horticulture Students, Faculty, Administrative Staff, and the entire MSU Campus

Our fellow Horticulture student, Krista Lueth has now been missing for almost four weeks and we want to make sure that she is not forgotten. Krista is a member of our MSU Community and we need to come together with our good thoughts, prayers, and stories, to support her family and friends during this difficult time.

With the help of the Horticulture Club and staff we have planned a Candlelight Vigil on Sunday at The Rock to make sure that the search for Krista continues and that her family knows that she was very highly thought of here at Michigan State University, by faculty, staff, and her fellow students.

Date: Sunday, December 7, 2008

Time: 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Place: THE ROCK (located on Farm Lane between the Red Cedar River and Old Auditorium)

Please bring a candle if you have one as we are not sure how many we will be able to supply.

Stay for the hour or for five minutes…we realize that this is finals week, but take a break in support of Krista and her family…your good thoughts and prayers are needed.

Thank you!

Kathy

P.S. This invitation is open to the entire MSU Campus and surrounding East Lansing and Lansing communities…so share with all.

I’m so sorry to hear about this. I’m a Michigan State alum, and was saddened to see her story through a missing persons organization I volunteer for.

Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry for the pain you all are going through. I was a great friend to Chris many years ago. Krista was like a big sister to me. Your dad is the most wonderful man. He always was kind when I was hanging out there. I was heart-broken to read the paper and find this has happened. I will be praying every day now for her safe return and some answers. No good families should have to go through this.

Sincerely an old friend of the family
