My name is Elizabeth Crum but everyone just calls me “E.” If you didn’t pick up on it at first glance, this blog’s name is a spin-off of the E! cable TV series The E! True Hollywood Story.
I’m a 39-year old freelance writer living in Las Vegas, NV. My professional portfolio includes a variety of corporate projects (business plans, training manuals, sales and marketing collateral, web copy, newsletters, press releases) as well as newspaper, magazine and blog content.
In addition to blogging here on E!!, I am Director of Policy at All American Blogger and managing editor of our (new!!) state blog Nevada Edition. I also blog at Culture 11’s LadyBlog twice a week (and am a huge fan our managing editor, Joe Carter). I’ve recently been a guest on KNPR Nevada Public Radio and Blog Talk Radio, and on 11/4/08 I participated in National Review Online’s election prediction Symposium.
In September 2008, I was the Media Liason for the Conservative Leadership Conference here in Las Vegas. Besides meeting some of our nation’s finest conservative and libertarian leaders, I had the honor and pleasure of assisting nationally syndicated radio broadcaster Roger Hedgecock, Las Vegas radio broadcaster Heidi Harris, Media Research Center’s Seton Motley, Eric Odom and Ken Marrero of the New Media Group at Sam Adams Alliance, John McJunkin and the team at Avalon Podcasting, Loredana Vuoto of Eloquence, writer/producer Myrna Sokoloff, and actor Kevin Farley.
My family of origin hails from Massachusetts but I grew up mostly (and graduated from high school) in Michigan. Between there and here, I lived in Massachusetts (2 years), Pennsylvania (3 years) and Florida (4 years). I worked in sales and marketing for nearly a decade doing stints as a sales person, sales manager, sales trainer, corporate spokesperson, and director of training.
I first met The Venerable Mr. Crum while living and working in Florida. In late 1998 we moved to Las Vegas, got married, and started a new life which includes three great kids and two very spoiled cats.
EDUCATION
I’ve been attending UNLV part time since 2001 and will soon graduate with a B.A. in English. I will probably go to grad school at some point.

Quirks: Too many to mention, but - happily!! - Mr. Crum shares them all so I am not alone in the world
